Salford science jam

This is a past event from Manchester Science Festival 2016.

See the natural delights of our planet in a ‘forest of curiosity’, where writers, poets and actors team up with scientists, naturalists, geographers and environmentalists to take you on an interactive journey of discovery. Experience life among living machines such as Smart e-robots and have a go at many other exciting, hands-on activities.

Build Lego models and bring them to life using software linked to motors and sensors, while discovering engineering tools like gears, pulleys and cams. Add your own imaginative features and develop algorithms using simple programmes.

Don’t forget to come dressed as your favourite superhero and we’ll transport you to another world using our green screen technology in the TV studios.
