Pi: Baffled by Brains?

This is a past event from Manchester Science Festival 2017.

Tackle one of the biggest issues of our world’s future at Pi: Baffled by Brains. Together with researchers from Salford University’s School of Environment and Life Sciences and the Salford Institute for Dementia you’ll be exploring with ‘brainiacs’ from all over the world on how our brains work, what happens when they breakdown, and how research may prevent brain diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease. Take part in immersive and interactive activities and meet other people who are passionate about how science, technology and environmental research can improve the lives of those with dementia. Get ready to build, create, touch and play.
