Part of MSF@MOSI: World of nano
A nanometre is a very, very tiny distance - one billionth of a metre to be exact. To put that into context, a human hair is around 80,000 nanometres in diameter and grows around a nanometre a second!
Come along to MOSI to meet some of the UK’s leading nanoscientists and find out lots more fascinating facts about the tiny nano-world. Try your hand at some amazing interactive activities, made possible by recent nano research, and discover the nanoscience that is all around us.
Whilst you’re here, don’t miss the special touring exhibition Giants of the Infinitesimal: An Interactive Experience of the Nano-World
