Girl Geeks Tea Party: Mathematical origami (Fully booked)

Part of MSF@MOSI: Maths magic

Romanesco cauliflower

Please note this event is fully booked.

A tea party with a twist! Literally. As part of a whole day dedicated to numbers, get your geek on and get creative with mathematical origami.

Mathematician Nicolette Rattenbury will wow us with the world of geometric shapes called 'fractals'. Using train tickets (yes train tickets!), learn how to build an Origami 'Menger Sponge' and lots of other mathematical shapes. Join us for mathematics, origami, tea and biscuits and find out more on this exceptionally geeky Sunday afternoon.

Please bring your old train tickets!
