Science after dark
Chemistry, Film, Technology
An altruistic chemist invents a new textile that never wears out or gets dirty, but faces opposition from a textile mill owner and union organiser, who quickly realise it will mean the end of their industry if it ever goes to market. This entertaining and thought-provoking film explores the conflict between science and society.
This screening is part of the Science in Film season presented as part of Manchester Metropolitan University's Trauma Film Screenings, which are open to everyone. Please see the Trauma film website to find out more.
