MSF@MOSI: Gene genius

Gene Genius

Would you like to play with some DNA? We’ll show you what this marvellous molecule looks like through the medium of plasticine and sweets!

With a range of fun activities on offer you can find out more about cutting edge genetic research from scientists at the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre.

A team from the Open University will also be on hand to help you make your own gummy bear double helix and DNA bracelets, find out how DNA forensics is used to solve crimes and discover how to write your name in DNA.

MOSI's very own science lab is also opening its doors to play host to CSI MOSI, an interactive workshop where you will become a crime scene investigator and help solve a crime!

Whilst your here, don't miss the special touring Inside DNA exhibition located in the 1830 Warehouse.
