2011 is International Year of the Forest.
Come to Manchester Museum to see fruit trees in the Greenhouse and a massive 300 million year old fossil tree stump. Find out about how trees live, how to tell them apart and about university research on trees. Come along and make a tree to take home.
This event is part of Curiosities Festival 2011, taking place across the NorthWest and working with museums, conservation groups, and nature reserves. An opportunity to learn, and to help the environment.
