Medical imaging helps us to look inside the body to help diagnose diseases and plan treatments. Different techniques allow us to look at different parts of the body and at diseases ranging from cancer to mental health problems, arthritis to lung disease. In this event, researchers and current University students will give a series of short talks about cutting edge medical imaging research and speculate about future developments, followed by an audience-led discussion.
This event is a must for anyone studying sciences at A-level and interested in the real life application of science and its influence on the world of medicine; and gives attendees the opportunity to quiz academics about their research and get the inside information on University study from current students.
