Please note all of the sessions are now fully booked. There may be a very limited number of tickets available from the venue (Campfield Market Hall) on the day of the event which will be distributed on a first-come-first-served basis.
In the past two years, over a quarter of a million people have put science and technology to the test at BBC One's Bang Goes the Theory Live.
Following this success, Bang is back in 2011 and promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The team are coming to MOSI for the Manchester Science Festival from 22-23 October to test, stretch and explode science and they want you to get involved.
Join the presenters as they perform live science demos and recreate some of the best stunts from the television show. Then it's your turn to get experimenting. Pick up some science tricks to impress your friends as Dr Yan demonstrates the best of his street science, get hands-on with our interactive exhibits and discover what our science partners have to offer. You can also meet the presenters, ask them your burning science questions and see some of the best builds from the show up-close and technical.
Go to bbc.co.uk/bang for more details, exclusive videos and science demos you can try at home.
For those with booked tickets, you were asked to choose from two timed sessions on your chosen date, both of which have the same content. Session one runs from 11am-2pm and session two runs from 3pm-6pm. For session one, you can arrive any time between 10.30am-12pm, and for session two you can arrive between 2.30pm-4pm. We recommend that you arrive early to make the most of your time.
If you have any access requirements, please advise us of them when you book your tickets.
