Aeolus Acoustic Wind Pavilion

Aeolus

Listen to beautiful sounds made by the wind! Aeolus is a unique singing sculpture designed to inspire curiosity and wonder about sound and acoustics, inspiring further interest in the diverse discipline through the exploration of an otherworldly work of art.

Stop by Media City to see the beautiful installation, and enjoy the accompanying exhibition on the ground floor of the University of Salford's new Media City Campus.

Aeolus is a joint project between the Acoustics Research Centre at the Salford University, the Institute of Sound and Vibration at Southampton University and artist Luke Jerram. Produced with funding from the EPSRC, Arts Council England and support from Outokompu.
