  • The St Ann’s Street entrance has a lift for pram and wheelchair access. The theatre itself is also accessible once you are inside the Royal Exchange and there are wheelchair spaces

Getting there

By tram: the nearest Metrolink stops are Market Street or St Peter’s Square

By bus: the free Metroshuttle bus one stops outside the Cross Street entrance and  Metroshuttle two stops on Deansgate, which is two minutes walking from the St Ann’s Square entrance. Numerous busses also stop within a five minute walk of the theatre

By train: Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Oxford Road and Manchester Victoria train stations are 15 minutes walk from the Theatre. From there, you can either take the free Metroshuttle bus or a taxi from the taxi ranks

By car: there are many car parking spaces within walking distance of the theatre, including the Deansgate NCP multi-storey car park, the High Street multi-storey car park and the Manchester Arena car park
