Yesterday saw the 2012 Manchester Day Parade take to our streets. There were some brilliant floats and the sun was out!
Our favourite was the baby float created by Spearfish. It was inspired by the Alan Turing Centenary, MOSI's collections, including the model of the baby computer and our project Turing's Sunflowers. It was an awe-inspiring float and the group were adorned with QR codes - scanning these with your smart phone took you to various web pages for more information about Alan Turing.
Check out the Turing's Sunflowers blog about the float and some of our pictures on Facebook.
