The search is on for the new voices of science communication. MOSI is hosting the Manchester heats of FameLab, the UK's biggest competition for new talent to engage the public in science, on Saturday 3 December. Time TBC.
If you're currently working or studying science in the UK, and think you can explain a science, engineering or maths concept in an engaging way to non-scientists in just three minutes, we want to hear from you!
Aspiring contestants should email education@mosi.org.uk
The winner of the Manchester regional heats will get the chance to take part in a weekend Masterclass with Professor of Science and Society and Science communication, Kathy Sykes, and experienced trainer, specialising in media & communication skills, Malcolm Love before vying for the title of FameLab champion at the National Final on 21 March 2012 at the Royal Institution of Great Britain where they will have the chance to take home £1,750 to further their career.
