Manchester Science Festival is all about celebrating the extraordinary in science – and we’re always seeking innovative workshops, exhibitions, debates, performances and expert talks to add to our diverse programme.

Produced by the Museum of Science and Industry, we’re the biggest science festival in England. Every October, we aim to engage over 100,000 visitors in more than 100 creative and playful events, from immersive experiments to numerical comedy.

If you think you might fit the bill, we’d love to hear from you, so please start by getting in touch with us.

Since 2007, our mission has been to showcase new ideas and exciting insights into science, technology, engineering and maths, while remaining inclusive and accessible to people of all ages and knowledge levels.

Our 10th birthday in 2016 saw us focusing on surprising, meaningful science that we hope will inspire and encourage scientists and inventors of the future, as well as providing fantastic entertainment for adult visitors too.

We’re also extremely fortunate that our unique network of sponsors, partners and friends gives us invaluable support, as we strive to become internationally known for our creative approach to engaging people in science.
