Young girl uses a stick to examine goo made in plastic cup

Science Goes Splat!

This is a past event from Manchester Science Festival 2017.

Science may be messy, but it’s always fun. Head to your local library for a masterclass in messiness, featuring erupting volcanoes made of exploding plasticine and gooey, oozey, non-Newtonian Oobleck fluids. Roll up your sleeves, put on your safety goggles, make sure all your valuables are safely stored away and get stuck in up to your elbows.
