Mark Thompson’s Spectacular Science Show

This is a past event from Manchester Science Festival 2017.

How spectacular is the science in your everyday life? Explore the magical properties of matter with exploding elephants’ toothpaste, vortex generating dustbins, dancing paste, vanishing beakers and even exploding Pringles tubes. TV astronomer and author Mark Thompson has been enthralling audiences for over 20 years with his spectacular jaunts around the universe. Now he is turning his infectious enthusiasm to things a little closer to home with this brand new 60-minute theatre show exploring the science of the ordinary.
